Privacy policy

The software

Vigil is self-hosted. Camera streams and recordings stay on your server, on your disk. Vigil does not send your footage anywhere by default.

Google Drive backups

If you connect Google Drive in the settings, pending recordings are uploaded to your own Drive account. The connection secret is encrypted at rest on your server, and you can disconnect at any time.

This website

This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects no personal data.
